Stone Rainbow

Photo worthy in any season or weather, Boulder's Chautauqua park is an idyllic mix of shady green hills, dramatic vistas and Moai-esque 'Flatirons.' It's impossible to take a bad photo up there because everywhere you look, there is national park-level natural beauty. 

Here are a few images from a weekend hike to the summit of Royal Arch, a sandstone arch perched 1,000 feet above the parking lot trailhead.
